The Beginner Basketball Program is designed for players between the ages of 5-7 who are seeking an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball. The program consists games, skill development sessions & practices taking place twice a week. 

Over a 3 month season, all basketball sessions will be held on Saturday & Sunday mornings at Holy Name of Mary Secondary School at 115 Glenvale Blvd Brampton, On. The price per player is an affordable $250 and includes a full season membership and all jersey fees (multiple season package discounts available).  Season is set to commence on May 6th 2023

The Rising Stars League is designed for players in grades 3 through 5, over a 3 month season, it will consist of 8 players, and 1 Coach per team. Referees and scorekeepers will be present at games to ensure equality and fair play. All games will be held on weekends at Holy Name of Mary Secondary School located at 115 Glenvale Blvd Brampton, On.

 

In addition to the three month season, practices will be held weekly in the same facility. The price per player is an affordable $250 and includes a full season membership and all jersey fees (multiple season package discounts available).  The next season is set to commence on April 29th 2023 with an Optional Draft, and games will start May 21st 2023

The Junior Basketball League is designed for middle school players, over a 3 month season, it will consist of 8 players, and 1 Coach per team. Referees and scorekeepers will be present at games to ensure equality and fair play.

The Live Long Lightning Travel Teams are a stepping stone for serious basketball athletes to take the next step in playing at the college level and professionally across the world. The Live Long Lightning Travel Teams consists of the hardest working, most talented and deserving Live Long Athletes.

 

To be eligible to try out for the Live Long Lightning Travel Teams athletes must be enrolled in a Live Long Approved Basketball Program and must be preforming at a high level. Periodically throughout the year we invite 25 players to "Try Out" to make the Live Long Lightning Rosters. Characteristics sought out for athletes for the Lightning Travel Teams include leadership, basketball IQ, teamwork, positive attitude in addition to talent.

 

Once selected to the team, it is important that all athletes maintain good academic standing in school and high performance in league play alongside Travel/Rep games. Once committing to the Live Long Lightning Roster it is imperative that all athletes attend ALL PRACTICES ROUTINELY & ON-TIME. Any player not abiding will be released from the roster and replaced.

 

The Live Long Lightning Travel Teams pride themselves in Year-Round Training and Competition. Athletes focus on strengh and conditioning in combination with honing their basketball skills & abilities as a team. Competition includes travel to the US (multiple tournaments a year), games amongst other representative/travel teams locally and tournaments in Canada.
